Louise Unmack has 20+ years’ experience as an IPR lawyer, from private practice within counselling, litigation and portfolio management for various companies and industries, and from the jewellery industry as head of Pandora’s IP team.

In 2012, Louise joined Pandora, one of the world’s largest jewellery brands, designing, manufacturing, and distributing jewellery in 100+ countries.

As head of Global IP, Louise is responsible for protecting, defending, and enforcing Pandora’s Intellectual Property Rights, which includes a broad portfolio of trademark rights, design rights, copyrights, and patents. In addition, Louise heads the “ Marketing, Collaborations and Sustainability” legal team.

Louise advises daily on balancing between “use of public domain and respecting & creating intellectual property rights” in the design creation process.
