The 28th User Group Meeting will be held online in three sessions on 29 April, 15 May and 8 June 2020, due to the spread of COVID-19.

Session 1 will be dedicated to examining the status and results of the European Cooperation Projects under SP2020, with a view to obtaining the user perspective on the implementation and evaluation of their results and expected benefits, in accordance with the formal consultation pursuant to Article 152(2) EUTMR.

Session 2 will be dedicated to the EUIPO Guidelines, especially to the 2020 edition and the feedback received from external stakeholders outside the revision cycle. Also, special attention will be paid to procedural malpractices, with the focus on those related to the main place of establishment and leasing of accounts.

Session 3 will be dedicated to outlining the EUIPO SME Programme and the new ECPs under SP2025.

ECTA will be represented by one of its expert members.
