The EUIPO IP Dissemination Customer Panels will be held online on 20 May, 27 May and 5 June 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19. ECTA will be represented by two of its members.

The dissemination of EUTM and RCD information is one of the priorities of the EUIPO. Over the last few years, the EUIPO has developed several tools and services to disseminate such information to customers, national IP offices, companies providing professional IP services and research organisations. Through these Panels, the EUIPO aims to review the existing tools and services and make recommendations for improvement.

In particular, the purpose is:

1. to better understand the categories of IP information that users need, for what purposes and where they find such information;
2. to better understand the perspective of users on how the EUIPO dissemination tools and services, as well as the disseminated information are supporting users’ work;
3. to receive feedback and outline possible priority areas of improvement to the EUIPO information dissemination.
