ECTA Round Table 'Lights and Shadows of the Unitary Character of the EU Trade Mark and Design System: Should We Remove the Inner Borders?'
The ECTA Round Table entitled ‘Lights and shadows of the unitary character of the EU trade mark and design system: should we remove the inner borders’ was attended by over 100 participants, in Alicante, Spain on 8 February 2018.

Benjamin Fontaine, GI Committee Chair and EUIPO-Link Committee Vice Chair moderated the Round Table. Opening speech was made by Christian Archambeau, (then) EUIPO Deputy Executive Director. Other speakers included representatives from the EUIPO, EUIPO Boards of Appeal, EU General Court and private practice.
