ECTA is pleased to announce the creation of the
Data Committee and
International Trade Committee, which have been approved during the ECTA Council/Board virtual Meeting on 17 June 2020.
Data Committee Its main task is to analyse the developments in the field of data, to closely follow the legislative developments in the EU as well as third countries, to analyse them and to prepare position papers and other feedback. The Data Committee will be chaired by
Delia Belciu (RO).

International Trade Committee Its main task consists of closely following the EU’s international trade negotiations from the perspective of intellectual property and to prepare statements of ECTA if appropriate. The International Trade Committee will be chaired by
Renate Pouw (NL).

If you are interested in being part of one of these Committees, please send an application to ecta@ecta.org by 15 September 2020, highlighting your previous involvement in the related topic and the reasons you would like to join the Committee.
Since the new Committees have been set up in the middle of the ECTA Committees’ term, kindly note that the selected candidates will exceptionally serve as Data or International Trade Committee members until 2023.
