The Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks (the "Protocol") turned 30 on Thursday, 27 June 2019.

Over three decades, the Protocol has improved the international registration process significantly for the ever-growing number of trade mark holders and IP offices, and continues to pioneer and innovate with fresh insights and new technologies.
