ECTA WEBINAR ‘POWERING UP. USING NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE IP ENVIRONMENT’ 9 JUNE 2020
13/05/2020
Join our panel of speakers including Péter Lukácsi (ECTA Council Member and Chair of the ECTA Professional Affairs Committee, SBGK Attorneys at Law, HU), Miguel Ortega Lafuente (Head of Service, EUIPO, ES) and Eric Gisolfi (Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Advance Publications Inc., U.S.) in the ECTA Webinar ‘Powering up. Using new technologies in the IP environment’ on 9 June 2020 (14:00-15.15 pm Brussels time).

During the webinar, our speakers will talk about artificial intelligence and its use by authorities – ethical aspects, quality aspects and more. They will also discuss the changes of products from service providers, e.g. is the full search still the parameter or have new technologies taken us to a place where other approaches are better?

To learn more about the background of each speaker, read their respective BIO by clicking on their name above.

The webinar is open to all and will be held in English via the Zoom Webinar platform.

The cost is 30,00 € for ECTA members/50,00 € for non-members. Once registered, the ECTA Secretariat will provide the related invoice for payment. Upon request, you will receive a certificate of attendance, in order to request CLE credits to national Bar Associations, if needed.

CLE credits are awarded or are positively considered by the responsible authorities in the Benelux, France, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Italy, UK, Cyprus, Hungary and Lithuania, among others. ECTA has contacted responsible organizations in all other Member States, where CLE credits are required.

If you’d like to join our learning hub, take the opportunity and reserve your place by Friday 5 June.
