User generated brands and social media vocabulary: symbols, expression, and commerceThe webinar will be focused on brands and signs in the digital environment.
Andrew Bridges (Fenwick & West LLP, US) will be moderating a distinguished panel of speakers, composed by
Alexandra J. Roberts (University of New Hampshire School of Law, US),
Katja Middelhoff (CMS, DE) and
Dev Gangjee,
(Oxford University, UK). The aim is to examine and compare the function of those signs not protected as trade marks or used exclusively for commerce, and that appear in the public space in mixed functions, mainly on social media.

CLE credits are awarded or are positively considered by the responsible authorities in the Benelux, France, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Italy, UK, Cyprus, Hungary, Romania and Lithuania, among others. ECTA has contacted the responsible organizations in all other Member States, where CLE credits are required.
