ECTA signed a MoU with the Bulgarian Patent Office

ECTA recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bulgarian Patent Office (BPO).

Through this MoU, ECTA and BPO aim to join forces, exchange practices and information in some areas, such as IP support for SMEs, technology transfer and commercialisation of IP.

This pilot project paves the way for possible new collaborations with other IPOs, following ECTA’s mandate in line with the ECTA President’s Strategic Plan 2020-2026 to strengthen engagement with IPOs and enhance awareness of ECTA activities.

We thank ECTA Supervisory Board members from Bulgaria and the SME Task Force for participating actively in this achievement and look forward to starting a close cooperation with BPO.
