ECTA WEBINARS: LAST WEEK TO REGISTER!
02/06/2020
Last chance to register to the ECTA Webinars on 9 and 11 June 2020! As a member, you could join with a reduced fee!

ECTA is pleased to provide in a webinar format two learning sessions from the ECTA 2020 Annual Conference, which was postponed due to COVID-19, in the following IP topics:

TUESDAY 9 JUNE 2020 (14:00-15:15 Brussels time)

POWERING UP. USING NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE IP ENVIRONMENT
Our speakers will talk about artificial intelligence and its use by authorities – ethical aspects, quality aspects and more. They will also discuss the changes of products from service providers, e.g. is the full search still the parameter or have new technologies taken us to a place where other approaches are better?

Register Here by Friday 5 June.

THURSDAY 11 JUNE 2020 (14:00-15:15 Brussels time)

PARALLEL IMPORTS: HOW IMPORTANT IS A TRADE MARK? A LIMITLESS SEA? (PHARMA PERSPECTIVE)
Our experts will discuss very key questions in this session. Is patient security more important than IP rights? Shall all trade marks be treated equally or are there differences between the classes, e.g. class 5 marks? Last but not least, we will also talk about the Directive on falsified medicines and related developments.

Register Here by Tuesday 9 June.

Chairs of ECTA Committees, officials from EU bodies, IP professionals from industry and private practice will provide an in-depth analysis on the recent legislation, policy developments and case law.

The webinars are open to all and will be held in English via the Zoom Webinar platform.

The cost is 30,00 € for ECTA members/50,00 € for non-members. Once registered, the ECTA Secretariat will provide the related invoice for payment. Upon request, you will receive a certificate of attendance, in order to ask for CLE credits to national Bar Associations, if needed.

CLE credits are awarded or are positively considered by the responsible authorities in the Benelux, France, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Italy, UK, Cyprus, Hungary and Lithuania, among others. ECTA has contacted responsible organizations in all other Member States, where CLE credits are required.

If you would like to join our learning hub, we will be happy to welcome you!
