The Office has recently introduced the new e-Filing Registered Community Design (RCD) form to file a design application. This form will run concurrently with the existing ones for a three-month transition period before replacing them.

From 13 April 2024, only two forms will be available: the RCD easy filing and the new RCD advanced form.

With this new form, EUIPO intends to bring various benefits, such as improving the user experience, providing a guided filing process, more flexibility with customised configurations, and the possibility to save drafts during the process.
