The Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI) is a non-profit organization founded in 1964, comprising more than 1,200 members from 49 countries across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Its principal objectives are to promote and safeguard the collective interests of its members through the study and dissemination of Intellectual Property, as well as to foster the development and protection of Intellectual Property rights in the Americas.

To achieve these objectives, ASIPI has 24 Working Committees, 8 Special Commissions, 5 Task Forces, and 8 Programs covering the various areas of Intellectual Property. These groups are responsible for analyzing, discussing, and publishing materials of interest to practitioners, rights holders, and government offices.

Through its work, ASIPI is recognized as one of the most respected organizations worldwide, as a promoter and advocate of intellectual property rights.
