Andrea K. Marx is an experienced lawyer in IP and healthcare advertising law. She is admitted to the German bar association and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Pharmaceutical Law from the University of Marburg.

As a partner of the IP boutique Harmsen Utescher, she advises and represents international and national clients in all IP matters in front of administrative authorities and courts, in particular in the areas of trademarks, designs and unfair competition. She has extensive experience in managing and enforcing global trademark portfolios. Furthermore, she advises and litigates for clients in pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising and parallel import matters, medical device and cosmetic laws.

Andrea K. Marx is Vice Chair and member of the Law Committee of ECTA for several years, member of PTMG, GRUR and BAH (German Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers).

She is a frequent speaker on IP matters at national and international conferences and co-author of a book about cosmetic advertising.
