Andrej Bukovnik is a European and Slovenian Trademark & Design Attorney and co-founder of Bukovnik & Kulbaba IP Guardians, a Brussels-based intellectual property law firm specialising in IP prosecution and enforcement across Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Western Balkans.
With over 20 years of working at leading IP law firms in Slovenia and Belgium, Andrej has extensive experience in complex, cross-border IP matters and advises multinational corporations on IP strategies in Europe and Central Asia. His practice centres on anti-counterfeiting, brand protection and unfair competition. He represents clients before EUIPO, the Benelux IP Office, and Slovenian courts and administrative bodies.
Andrej has published a number of articles and given several presentations on IP matters in Slovenia and other EU jurisdictions. He is an active member of the INTA Unfair Competition Committee, ECTA's AI and Data Committee, and the EUIPO-Link Committee.
