Anette Rasmussen is Lead Trademark Specialist at Lundbeck, a Danish pharmaceutical company. She is responsible for identifying, managing, and securing protection of Lundbeck’s intellectual property rights excluding patents. Her work spans close collaboration with cross-functional teams and covers brand development, protection, and enforcement, including INN naming, domain name strategy, and both online and offline brand protection. She also has a strong interest in artificial intelligence and advises on copyright matters related to the use of AI tools within Lundbeck.

In addition, Anette is appointed as a trademark expert member of the Danish Board of Appeals.

Prior to joining Lundbeck in 2024, Anette spent 25 years working with intellectual property rights, initially as an Examiner at the Norwegian Industrial Property Office and subsequently as an external lawyer. In private practice, she advised clients across a wide range of industries on global IP strategy, prosecution, and enforcement, including infringement, ownership, and validity disputes, and represented clients before the Danish courts and the General Court of the European Union. She was admitted to the Danish Bar in 2010 and to the Danish High Court in 2018.

Anette has been a member of ECTA since 2005, has served on several Committees, and was a member of the Board of Directors, including serving as President of ECTA.
