Anton Petrov is a Legal Specialist in the Legislative Affairs Service and an accredited mediator at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). He has over 20 years of experience in intellectual property, competition law, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on technology, media and telecoms.

Before joining the EUIPO, Anton worked as a legal officer in DG JUST and practiced law for 15 years. He also spent over a decade in academic research on EU and international IP protection, technology regulations, and legislative impact assessments, collaborating with leading consultancies on policy evaluations.

With his deep expertise in intellectual property and regulatory frameworks, Anton brings valuable insights into the legal challenges and opportunities shaping IP protection in the film and TV industry.
