Bernard worked from 1994 to 2000 at the Swiss Trademark Office (IPI) as head of the trademark opposition proceeding. He is partner at the Swiss law firm Troller Hitz Troller. Bernard holds several IP lectures in Switzerland as well as at Tongji University in Shanghai and he is lecturing sports law in Zurich. Bernard acts as an expert speaker for the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) and he regularly speaks at seminars and publishes in the field of IP/sports law.
