Djamila is an intellectual property consultant and certified mediator based in Belgium.

During more than twenty years, she served as sole in-house IP counsel in multinational industry, including Recticel, Ontex and Campbell Soup Europe.

Through her practice Archipel, she now advises innovative industry and creative SME , like the iconic Atomium in Brussels, on the effective use of IP in business. She helps teams translate complex IP issues into workable frameworks for daily decision-making , negotiations and amicable conflict resolution.

As a certified mediator, she handles business, team and private conflicts and regularly trains on mediation and negotiation, including at Thomas More Uiversity of Applied Sciences.

She is Secretary of the ECTA Mediation Committee and Treasurer of the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM).
