Mrs. Edanela Perez Broce is Senior IP Counsel for Trademarks and Designs at Philips International BV. She is a Panamanian qualified lawyer and has a LLM degree in Management and Information Technology from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She has worked in the private and public sector in Panama. Mrs. Perez Broce moved to The Netherlands in 2006 where she continued her legal career with the international brand Adidas at their Intellectual Property Department. At Adidas she worked as Trademark Counsel, responsible for various territories worldwide and focused on football goods IP protection and Brand Protection strategy for sport events. In 2019, Mrs. Perez Broce joined the international company PVH as IP and Brand Protection Counsel for the brand Tommy Hilfiger. Edanela has represented these well-known brands at several meetings with local authorities in various jurisdictions, and international organizations like, WCO, EUIPO, Interpol, Europol, and Anti-counterfeiting organizations worldwide.
