François Uyttenhove is working for the IP department at AB InBev for more than 16 years. Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is a brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium. François is currently managing the IP portfolio of the European brands worldwide, but also overlooking the global brands in Europe. The diverse beer portfolio includes global brands Budweiser®, Corona® and Stella Artois®; multi-country brands Beck's®, Hoegaarden® and Leffe®; and local champions such as Bud Light®, Brahma®, Castle®, Harbin®, Jupiler®, Modelo Especial®, Quilmes® and Victoria®. The brewing heritage dates back more than 600 years.
Besides IP he is working on AB InBev’s foundations and the relationship with the abbey of Leffe.
François Uyttenhove has dedicated his entire career to IP. He started with Novagraaf Belgium to jump over to the industry. He is currently chairing the BMM, the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design law.
