Ilaria Carli is an attorney at law with more than 20 years of experience in intellectual property, advertising and information technology law.

She is counsel at Legalitax, a full-service Italian law firm based in Milan and Rome. Ilaria’s law practice includes advising national and international clients in a wide range of sectors, including the wine, music, fashion and design industry. She handles intellectual property disputes before Italian and European courts and assists clients before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She recently acquired specific knowledge and expertise on the impact of new technologies - such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, smart contracts and NFTs - in the creative industry, advising both artists, minters and NFTs platforms.

Ilaria is a Panelist of MFSD, an IP Dispute Resolution Center based in Milan and in November 2022 was appointed to the Arbitration pool of CAfA (Court of Arbitration for Art).

Besides being a member of the Internet Committee of ECTA, she is also a member of AIPPI.

Ilaria has an LL.M. Degree in Intellectual Property at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London - 1997.
