Member of the ECTA AI & Data Committee, ASIPI Member – President of ASIPI FUTURO Commission, Allende & Garcia Abogados, PE

He is a founding partner of Allende & Garcia Abogados, a leading firm in intellectual property in Peru. He is a lawyer expert in intellectual property and personal data protection.

He obtained his law degree from Universidad de Lima, Peru and a Master of Law (LL.M.) from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, USA.

He is an active member of the Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI); the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP); the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA) serving in different committees and commissions.

Jorge was President of the Peruvian Association of Intellectual Property (APPI) and was also delegate and sub-delegate of Peru for ASIPI.

He is a professor of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in intellectual property at various universities and schools in the country.
