Judit Lantos
Member of the ECTA Supervisory Board and Harmonization Committee, Danubia Legal, HU

Judit Lantos’ principal area of expertise is the protection of intellectual property rights, particularly trademark law. Judit has acquired substantial knowledge and experience in advising on trademark law and trademark registration; drafting contracts, and licence- and co-operation agreements; managing trademark portfolios; carrying out trademark searches, and conducting litigation in trademark infringement and passing off suits, as well as in opposition and cancellation proceedings, customs procedures involving infringement of intellectual property rights, domain name registration and alternative dispute resolution.

She has delivered presentations at a number of national and international conferences, and has published numerous articles both at home and abroad on her specialist field.

Since December 2018 Judit has been managing partner in Danubia Legal and the name partner of one of the law firms operating under the Danubia Legal brand.
After graduating summa cum laude from Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Law in 1995, Judit did an internship at the German patent and trademark firm Viering, Jentschura & Partner in Munich. She subsequently joined the law firm Bogsch & Partners, where she worked from 1995 – 1998, specialising in company law, commercial law and trademark law. In 1998, together with Csaba Sár, she founded Sár and Partners Attorneys at law where she worked as an attorney and partner until 2018 when she became one of the founding partners and managing partner of Danubia Legal.
