I am a business-minded IP professional with over 20 years’ experience in the field of intellectual property, specializing in design and trade mark law. I have worked in international top-tier law firms as well as specialized IP firms, representing clients in many brand and design intensive fields.

I still get excited about new fields of business and especially designs and design law, which I am very passionate about. As an active member of ECTA Design Committee I have had the opportunity to deep dive into for example 3D printing and the challenges it imposes to intellectual property rights, especially designs, from a practitioners’ point of view.

Working as a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney and Authorized Trade Mark and Design Attorney under the laws of Finland, I have assisted and represented companies in the field of telecommunications, media and entertainment, gaming, sports, finance, energy, marine industry, automotive industry, consumer goods and food industry. After moving to Norway in early 2022, in addition to continuing to support clients in their IP strategies and clearances, and filing, prosecution, opposition, cancellation and related procedures before the EUIPO and the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, I now assist clients before the Norwegian Intellectual Property Office.

I have a multidisciplinary background with a combination of studies in intellectual property and business law, marketing, entrepreneurship and design business management. I apply the same approach when working with clients. Never stop learning.

Nowadays, while working with IP, I also enjoy simple life Norwegian style. I take great pleasure in meeting new people, learning new languages, hiking, ice swimming, going to concerts and the occasional gourmet experiences with champagne.
