Marie-Christine Seiler is a German lawyer and partner at the German law firm Merx Pütz Rechtsanwälte PartmbB, Munich.

She is specialised in intellectual property law and unfair competition and provides comprehensive advice on trade marks, designs, copyright and unfair competition issues. From the development of IP strategies to the enforcement of her clients' rights in court or in contracts, she has extensive experience in conducting proceedings before courts and administrative authorities in Germany and before the EUIPO and ECJ, in particular regarding trade mark matters. She is also experienced in managing large, international IP portfolios, in particular in the fields of food, food supplements and pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, fashion, art/design objects.

Marie-Christine Seiler holds a law degree from Munich and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Wellington, New Zealand. She has also worked seconded in the legal departments of large pharmaceutical and medical technology companies in Germany. She is active at ECTA, currently as Vice-Chair of the Harmonization Committee and as Supervisory Board Member.
