Member of the ECTA Supervisory Board and Design Committee, SBGK Attorneys at Law, HU Péter Lukácsi is attorney at law and partner at SBGK Attorneys at Law, one of the leading law firms in Hungary in the field of intellectual property law. His main area of practice covers prosecution and litigation in various fields of intellectual property law (trade marks, copyrights and designs) and litigation in the field of competition law. He also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting licensing, distribution and franchising agreements. He has been involved in high-profile contentious cases before Hungarian and EU courts, including two preliminary ruling proceedings before the CJEU. Péter Lukácsi is a member of the following international associations: INTA, AIPPI and ECTA. He is a member of the ECTA Supervisory Board and Design Committee and currently serves as the Vice-President for Trademarks, Designs and Competition Law of the Hungarian Association for the Protection of Industrial Property and Copyright. He is regular speaker at intellectual property law conferences and he is the author of several publications within the field of IP law. He is author and co-editor of the first commentary of the Hungarian Trade Mark Act. Péter Lukácsi regularly teaches intellectual property law at the prestigious Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Law in Budapest.
