Dr. Beetz is qualified as Austrian and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney and he is a partner of SONN IP Attorneys. Rainer Beetz advises and represents clients in IP prosecution as well as in contentious validity and infringement proceedings. He teaches IP law at the law school of the University of Vienna. He has been a Member of ECTA’s Council/Supervisory Board for the last 6 years. He is currently president of AIPPI Austria.
