Sylvie Harding is a recently retired senior in-house counsel from Chanel Trademark & Anti-Counterfeit Department.

For numerous years, she has been involved with ECTA either as an elected French representative at the Council / Supervisory Board or as a member of various Committees.

Sylvie has a double background of management and intellectual property at the French Universities of Dauphine and Pantheon-Assas.

Before joining Chanel in November 1999, Sylvie started her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry at Servier then spent four years in the United States and back to France worked as an IP in-house counsel in the paper industry.

With a strong belief of the role of ECTA in our IP world, Sylvie, in her new role in the Membership Committee, wishes to arouse in-house Counsel’s interest to join and be involved in the ECTA Association.
