Birte Vanrobaeys is heading the Trademarks and Designs team of Versuni Netherlands. She has over 20 years of in-house experience in managing global IP portfolios, streamlining corporate IP and brand strategies with business objectives and anti-counterfeiting activities. She advises international product marketing management and design teams of various businesses on IP protection in relation to their product portfolios and provides advice regarding the availability and strategies for protection, risk management and defense in matters of trademark law, unfair competition, design law, copyright and domain names as well as regarding contracts involving IP.

Before joining Versuni, she was a senior IP Counsel in the IP&S department of Royal Philips. She started her career in private practice as an Associate in the IP-IT department of a major lawfirm in Brussels handling litigation and counselling various clients on different IP matters. She obtained a Law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Law from University College London. She is a Member of BMM and a Member of ECTA.
