Stoyan Sirakov
Member of the ECTA Supervisory Board, Secretary of the Anti-Counterfeiting Committee, Interius Co., BG

Stoyan is member of ECTA’s Supervisory Board and Secretary of ECTA’s Anti-Counterfeiting Committee. He is a Bulgarian attorney at law, Patent attorney, Trademark attorney, as well as a European Trademarks and Design Attorney. Stoyan has been with Interius, one of Bulgaria’s top-tier IP firms, since 2008.

Stoyan joined Interius after graduating law at Vienna University. He is specialized in IP, dealing with all kind of IP matters and primarily with trademarks and designs in all aspects of prosecution and litigation. Stoyan advises and represents local, international and multi-national clients in relation to trademark and design filings, oppositions, cancellations and infringement actions, including before the EUIPO, different Bulgarian state authorities, customs authorities, before the Bulgarian Patent Office and the courts.

Stoyan is active in different IP organizations. He is the current President of the Bulgarian National Group of AIPPI, member of the AIPPI Standing Committee on Trademarks, and auditor in the SQAP program before the EUIPO on behalf of AIPPI since 2018.

He is member of INTA since 2012, member of GRUR since 2014.

Football is one of his favourite sports. But it is more than that. He is member of the Bulgarian Football Union, member of the Committee on Football Agents since 2015, the Vice Chair of which he is since 2020. Stoyan is also member of UEFA’s Players’ Status, Transfer and Agents and Match Agents Committee.
