The EUIPO has recently launched a new webpage that gathers useful information regarding e-commerce marketplaces’ IP protection tools.

The purpose is to make it easier for businesses to take action against IP infringements and protect customers by using the resources made available by these marketplaces.

In particular, the EUIPO platform provides guidance on notification systems, IP protection programmes and contact points for those e-commerce marketplaces that have provided the Office with such information (e.g. Ebay, Etsy, Amazon, Subito, Wish, Facebook, etc.).
