EUIPO EUTM and RCD Guidelines in HTML

After offering the Guidelines in PDF format, the EUIPO has now made available the last editions of the EUTM Guidelines (2017) and the RCD Guidelines (2018) in HTML format in 23 official EU languages.

Some of the new functionalities of the new Guidelines page include:
  • easy navigation through the Guidelines;
  • a central search functionality;
  • an on-off switch to show modifications for comparing two editions (currently available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish).
In the near future more features are planned by the EUIPO to be added to the Guidelines in HTML format, including advanced search options, internal cross references and links to Case Law, graphic multimedia examples for new types of marks, and a more elaborate repository of previous editions of the Guidelines and Manual.
